Land Use, Zoning and Entitlements
HTW’s attorneys understand the complex legal and procedural requirements involved in the entitlement approval process that often trigger the jurisdiction of multiple agencies with separate and sometimes overlapping rules and permitting criteria. Environmental Law
Permeating the land use practice are environmental rules and regulations. HTW’s attorneys have exhaustive knowledge about and experience with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”), which integrates environmental review into the entitlement process. They strive to insure compliance with and seek necessary permits under all of the local, state and federal regulations which regulate impacts of land use and development on environmentally sensitive features or resources.

HTW’s transactional real estate practice provides individualized, comprehensive and accessible representation. HTW assists clients in the acquisition, sale and leasing of both commercial and residential property and conducting the requisite due diligence associated with such transactions.
